Russell Road development a good omen for local economy (The Register Citizen)- About: Car Auction News
EAST GRANBY — If you are looking for signs of life in the local economy, look no further than the Russell Road area of East Granby, where a trio of growing local businesses will soon move into larger facilities. As the town looks to develop a more commercial village center in hopes of attracting both shoppers and residents, the longtime local businesses are in the process of moving to the more industrial zone. Firm Principal Lorri DiBattisto said they show that there is some growth in the area, but also that businesses remain confident in the area as a whole. East Granby Director of Community Development Gary Haynes said the moves are making the town to look at its current land use policies in hopes of drawing more business in the near future. read more
