Fred was interested in old cars all of his life and began his collection, which reflected his vast knowledge of vintage cars, in his early twenties. They had a group of friends they would vacation with and they would drive their old cars through small towns in search of finding other old cars, car parts, museums and antique stores. He brought a trailer that can hold six cars, and before the first day of the sale was over, he had already bought four cars.
