PLEASANTON — When he was 12 years old, Jon Brian used to sit up on the wall of Valley Avenue and watch the hot rods whiz by during the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association’s car shows. Now Brian is utilizing his passion for a good cause by leading a project called “A Car for Darfur. The project will also likely raise more money than a fundraiser because the person who ends up buying the car will be willing to pay more knowing the money is going to a good cause, Berger said.
