‘Stage fright’ and more at collector car auction (Midland Daily News)- About: Car Auction News
There was something for almost everyone July 21 at the first collector car auction held at the Midland Antique & Collectible Festival at the Midland County Fairgrounds. Some of its auctions and those of at least one other prominent company — Barrett-Jackson — are nationally televised. The Cutlass — the first car up for bids — got an offer of $12,000 in that first round of bidding. That also was the auction’s top successful bid — for a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible. Penny has four cars that will be auctioned off at the Kruse International collector car auction at the Midland Antique and Collectible Festival today. Car Auction News – Going, going, gone! (Lock Haven Express)
Ringman Marty Hill listens for bids on Saturday during the Annual Classic and Antique Car Auction at the Central Pennsylvania Auto Auction. Behind Hill sits a 1956 Ford Thunderbird, one of Grant Miller’s collection, that sold for $57,000.
