Car Auction News – GM and the GM Foundation’s Support for Haiti Earthquake Relief Exceeds $1 Million (The Auto Channel)

Montford, Chairman of the GM Foundation & Senior Advisor for Government Relations and Global Public Policy. GM and UAW employees at 11 facilities across North America held gate drives to collect donations for local American Red Cross chapters’ Haiti relief efforts. The GM Foundation has donated almost $800,000 in support, including a $100,000 contribution to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development Fund from the General Motors Foundation GM Global Aid program. Funds raised for the Haiti Relief and Development Fund also include $250,000 raised during the 39th annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction.
