Topic: Car Auction News - Arrest made in car auction lot killings (KMIR 6 Palm Springs)

Police say they arrested 34-year-old Karl George Sanft Thursday after determining a car he was driving had been stolen from the Bay Cities Auto Auction lot. The arrest of Sanft comes after 63-year-old Angelito Erasquin and 56-year-old Jim Wightman were found stabbed to death at the lot early Tuesday. Erasquin was a security guard at the lot, while Wightman was a trucker who delivered cars. Investigators believe Sanft stabbed the two men after he was caught breaking into the lot. read more
