Paul-based Goodwill/Easter Seals has been charged with swindling nearly $162,000 from the charitable organization’s auto auctions. According to a criminal complaint, between 2001 and 2003 Weeks allegedly switched car auction checks for cash. After a lengthy investigation that included audits and forensic accountants, Weeks told authorities that his scheme allowed him to pocket about $4,500 after each auction.
